Eastern Club Projects

Fall Education Series: This traveling tour will come to different parts of the region with presentations throughout the fall. These are evening events (7-9pm) during the week focused on expanding the U16 and under coach's tool box and helping them understand what's important for Youth Development. The content of these presentations would be defined by the children's committee with input from the USSA Ed Department; a synergy of everyone's materials, while taking a look at how SkillsQuest can work for your group and your club.

Winter Youth Weekends: These weekends in Tri-State, NJ, PARA, SARA and Maine are an effort to get everyone in the less populous state associations together using the material in SkillsQuest as a guide for content. They will be geared toward U16 and under athletes, their coaches, their clubs and their parents. The weekend will culminate in a SkllsQuest evaluation on Sunday morning.

Winter Program Visits and Follow-Up Visits: Throughout the winter, Eastern Staff will make visits to see how the Education Series is paying off and how things have been taking shape in the clubs. We would also talk education during these visits with the hope of interacting on a personal level with the membership: athletes, coaches, club leaders and parents.

Dates for these initiatives will be posted shortly.
