Biography
After growing up watching his dad compete on the Pro Moguls Tour, Cody Tempel jumped right into the bumps at seven years old. Now, with 18 years of competitive moguls skiing experience, Tempel is thrilled to be on the U.S. Team. “Multiple years  I missed the team by a spot or two,” he says. “I’m just happy that I’m there now and hope to do my best.”

A U.S. National Championships dual moguls title and three NorAm top-10 finishes sealed the deal for Tempel in 2012.

Cody Says
I’m really looking forward to the upcoming ski season. I just want to perform
my best on each mogul run I ski.

Off the Snow
Tempel’s off-the-hill activities include fishing and hunting around Montana and being with friends.  “Hunting and fishing are some of my favorite activities,” he says. “Living in Montana we have a lot of places to do both, I love it here.”

First Tracks
Tempel first found skiing through his family. “Both my mom and dad are avid skiers,
and my dad used to compete on the pro mogul tour,” says Tempel. “I used to go to competitions when I was really young just to watch and be with my family.” Tempel first competed at seven years old. “I have loved it ever since.”
