BIOGRAPHY:
If you're looking to watch back-to-back 900s all day long, call Elena, who knows a thing or two about these lofty tricks—she's been throwing 9s since 2003 and doing them tandem since '08. The first woman to land a 900 in competition at only 13 years-old, Hight is a star in the pipe and made her way on to the Olympic team in 2006, where she was sixth, and in 2010, where she took 10th. She kept the ball rolling in 2011, making an appearance on the Dew Tour podium before racing off to the backcountry to film. At a hair over five-feet-tall, seeing Hight boost out of a superpipe is truly incredible, and after watching her stomp difficult combinations with ease, it becomes clear why she's known as one of the most progressive riders in the sport.

ELENA SAYS:
This last season was full of amazing memories. I had a season full of days where each seemed to exceed the last. I was able to mix the year with contests, powder riding, park riding, filming and a few days to ride just for me. Having this mix of all kinds of different snowboarding throughout the season helped me progress and continue to stay excited about going up everyday and pushing myself to the next level.

FIRST TRACKS:
Thanks to her father Mike, Hight first stepped on a snowboard at age 6, and she began competing in local events when she was 8. The progression pipeline worked its magic and landed the halfpipe star at some of the biggest competitions in the world before she could even drive a car.

OFF THE SNOW:
Off the snow I enjoy surfing, cooking and running.
