Ski and Snowboard Club Vail athlete Katharine Irwin started running FIS events in 2010, and the next year she won J2 nationals for both giant slalom and super G. The U.S. Development Team was the obvious next step.

Now in her third year of training with coach Seth McCadam, Irwin officially has a NorAm victory under her belt. She also starts at the Europa Cup level and competes in the Junior World Championships. Next, Irwin will be looking to turn those starts into more top-three results in order to keep climbing up the ranks.
