Steamboat Springs native Nick Deirdorff started racing in snowboard cross at ten years old and has been working his way up the pro ranks since. Deirdorff grabbed his first Nor-Am podium in the 2012 and his first victory in 2013 at Mount Hood Meadows, OR. He's had twenty-one World Cup starts and a fifth place finish at La Molina, Spain at the end of the 2014 season. As a kid he wandered Steamboat's Olympian Hall and is well on his way to adding his name to a long list of local Olympians.
