In his second year on the rookie squad, Nathan Jacobson is making moves in the halfpipe scene. Jacobson narrowly missed a podium spot at the 2015 Junior World Championships in Yabuli, China, taking home fourth place in the halfpipe competition. His smooth style has earned him multiple podium spots at USASA Nationals and with tricks like double corks in his bag, he's about ready to explode onto the pro scene.

      FIRST TRACKS
Jacobson's love of the mountains started before he could walk when his dad would race down the hill at Mt. Bachelor with him in a backpack. He started skiing when he was two and begged his parents to let him snowboard when he was six. He was instantly hooked. He joined Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation and quickly progressed to the competition team. He competed in the USASA local series and qualified for Nationals when he was eight. Duder, as he is known by his friends, has a style that is smooth and easy.

      OFF THE SNOW
Nathan likes anything active - skateboarding, wakeboarding, jumping off bridges, rope swinging - and of course, just hanging out with friends.
