Nik Baden is a Steamboat Springs native with all-around snowboard talent. Though Baden is a member of the pro slopestyle team, he earned a sliver medal in halfpipe at the Youth Olympic Games in February of 2016. He also earned top-ten slopestyle finishes at the U.S. Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain and the Total Flight event in Grandvalira, Andorra.

Baden first made a splash as a 16-year-old rookie in 2014; after earning three top-ten finishes in the Olympic qualifier series, he narrowly missed the 2014 Olympic team.

In 2015, Baden earned his first invite to the X Games and was the top American slopestyle finisher in eighth place. Baden finished out his season with a win, taking home top honors at the U.S. Revolution Tour finals in Mammoth Mountain, CA.

FIRST TRACKS
Initially on skis, Baden made the switch to the snowboard at age four with his mom and dad at Steamboat Ski Resort.

OFF THE SNOW
When not snowboarding, Baden enjoys jumping on the trampoline, biking, skateboarding, and getting out to go camping and hiking in his home state of Colorado.
