![]() Like a certain other Minnesotan (hint: Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn), Paula Moltzan made the move to Colorado's famed Ski and Snowboard Club Vail from her roots at Buck Hill. That was in August of 2010. Now in her third year on the U.S. Development Team, Moltzan has inked podium finishes across the world. Fast skiing during the 2012 season, and more importantly at the start of the 2013 season, prompted coaches to give Moltzan her first World Cup start during the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational slalom. She didn't finish the first run, but the experience was well worth booting up and she did it in style by rocking a sharpie mustache. It also gave her the confidence to rock the rest of the season, finishing top 10 in slalom, giant slalom, combined and overall in the NorAm tour standings. |
