BIOGRAPHY:
With an Olympic bronze medal in his stash and some of the most stylish airs in the industry, Scotty Lago is a household name. Lago touts around a slew of X Games medals in various disciplines, the latest of which was gold for best method in 2011, which he won with his Jaw wired shut thanks to a backcountry filming incident. With multiple discipline talents, it's no wonder why in 2012 the Seabrook kid will be competing in both halfpipe and slopestyle wherever he goes.

SCOTTY SAYS:
I thought last season was a good opportunity for me to mix up filming and competing, so I kind of took advantage of having a broken jaw in the middle of the season, taking time off and going out and filming. I really wanted to do well at the beginning of the season and go to X Games, and everything ended up working out. So my evil plan worked.

FIRST TRACKS:
Scotty picked up snowboarding at a local tubing hill in Amsbury, Massachusettes and since Mom and Dad "backed him from day one," he eventually moved into competitions and a slot on the U.S. Team.

OFF THE SNOW:
Taking after Ted Nugent in true New Hampshire style: loves to hunt and fish, hence the favorite dish; "all types of seafood". Has "Lago" inked on the inside of his lip and plans for more tattoos on his back. Scored a couple of earrings—with girlfriend approval, of course.
