Park City's Sydney Staples now follows older sister and NorAm champion Kiley Staples onto the U.S. Ski Team. It was an easy call for U.S. coaches after Staples finished top 25 in both downhill and super combined in the 2011 NorAm standings. She was fired up and ready to rock in 2012 when she tore her ACL while training pre-season. The injury required surgery forcing Staples to commit to rehab rather than the start gate. It worked and she was back in her boots for the 2013 winter.
