The multi-talented Trevor Jacob has an impressive resume. He’s popular on the hit series ‘Nitro Circus,’ he’s been invited to the Dew Tour for halfpipe, and is a National snowboardcross champion. At the end of the 2012 season, Jacob decided to stop competing in halfpipe and slopestyle and make snowboardcross his main focus.

Jacob’s full-throttle approach to life has quickly paid off in snowboardcross, because in only his second season on the World Cup tour he landed his first victory in Vallnord, Andorra. That win also nabbed him the first spot on the 2014 U.S. Olympic snowboardcross team. Jacob ended up with a ninth-place finish in Sochi after dominating the majority of his heats leading up to semi finals. Trevor Jacob is just getting started, so be on the lookout for more from this all-or-nothing shredder.

TREVOR SAYS
I’ve never actually worked this hard at a goal, and to make that goal come true and be here at the Olympics is amazing. The fire is here for boarder cross. It was never really there for halfpipe, but this is something super meaningful and I can do it for the right reasons.

FIRST TRACKS
Like many of his teammates, Jacob got his start young. He remembers, “My parents were snowboarding, trying to teach my brother and I how to ski. I was two and a half and got out of control and ran straight into a lift pole on skis. After that, they let my brother and I snowboard.”

OFF THE SNOW
Jacob keeps busy. He says, “When I am not on the snow, I am touring with Nitro Circus or filming for GKC videos!”
