U.S. Athletes Mourn Sarah Burke as Pioneer


KILLINGTON, VT (Jan. 19) - U.S. athletes and officials from all sports mourned the loss of pioneering Canadian freeskier Sarah Burke, who passed away Thursday from injuries suffered in a training crash just over a week earlier. Burke was hailed as a leader and role model in her sport who pioneered halfpipe skiing into the Olympics.
