Double Podium for USA at Telluride

TELLURIDE, CO (Dec. 17) - U.S. Snowboarding's Nick Baumgartner (Iron River, MI) celebrated his 30th birthday with another visit to the podium. Baumgartner teamed with Jonathan Cheever (Saugus, MA) to take second in the Paul Mitchell Progression Session team SBX event at the USANA Snowboardcross Cup, barely losing to France in a photo finish. Friday's individual winner Lindsey Jacobellis (Stratton Mountain, VT) paired with Callan Chythlook-Sifsof (Anchorage) for third. France swept to both men's and women's titles.

USANA Snowboardcross Cup caps a 10-day training camp and competition in Telluride, the third year the Colorado resort has hosted the U.S. Snowboarding SBX Team.
A formal ceremony showcasing the U.S. Snowboarding SBX Team was held in a nearby plaza immediately following the event.
