2014-2015 Snowboarding International World Cup Criteria

 

HALFPIPE SNOWBOARDING (6 men / 8 women + Kelly Clark)

·       Top 5 U.S. men and 5 U.S. women athletes ranked in TTR World Ranking List as of 7.03.14.

·       Top 5 U.S. men and 5 U.S. women athletes ranked on the 9th FIS Points list 2013/14

·       If athlete declines their start position from above then start will be filled using Coaches Discretion

·       Coaches Discretion will be used to fill any remaining starts up to nations quota

Snowboardcross International World Cup Criteria

2014-15 Snowboardcross World Cup criteria

 

Snowboardcross (8 men / 4 women)

A World Cup start allocation will use the following system to fill available quotas with athletes that meet the FIS criteria for entry (50 FIS SBX points). If an athlete declines the nomination then the next ranked athlete will be invited, within the specific criteria ranking list, until quota is filled.

Criteria #1        Top 4 men & 3 women from the 1st FIS points List

Criteria #2       Top 3 men (not already qualified from above criteria) from top 30 of 2014 SBX World Cup Standings

Criteria #3       1 men & 1 women (not already qualified from above criteria) may be selected based on coaches discretion. Discretionary positions may be considered on an event by event basis.

Criteria #1       Top 4 men & 3 women from the 6th points list as of February 12, 2015

Criteria #2       2 men & 1 woman (not already qualified from above criteria) from the World Cup Standings as of February 16, 2015. Must be in the top 30 of the World Cup ranking. 

Criteria #3       2 men (not already qualified from above criteria) may be selected based on coaches discretion. Discretionary positions may be considered on an event by event basis.

PGS/PSL International World Cup Criteria

Selection 1: December World Cup events

 

2 Men

Criteria #1- Athletes ranked in the top 30 from the 2014 PAR World Cup Standings

Criteria #2- Any remaining spots will be filled from the 9th 2013/2014 FIS Parallel points list.  Athletes must have a minimum of 100 FIS Points to be eligible.

1 Women

Criteria #1- Top athlete ranked on the 9th 2013/2014 FIS Parallel points list.  Athletes must have a minimum of 100 FIS Points to be eligible.

 

Selection 2: January World Cups

2 Men

Criteria #1- Athletes ranked in the top 30 from the current PAR World Cup Standings

Criteria #2- Remaining spots will be filled from the 3rd 2014/2015 FIS Parallel points list.  Athletes must have a minimum of 100 FIS Points to be eligible.

1 Women        

Criteria #1- Athletes ranked in the top 30 from the PAR current World Cup Standings

Criteria #2- Remaining spots will be filled from the 3rd 2014/2015 FIS Parallel points list.  Athletes must have a minimum of 100 FIS Points to be eligible.

 

Selection 3: March World Cups

2 Men

Criteria #1- Athletes ranked in the top 30 from the current PAR World Cup Standings

Criteria #2- Remaining spots will be filled from the 4th 2014/2015 FIS Parallel points list.  Athletes must have a minimum of 100 FIS Points to be eligible.

1 Women        

Criteria #1- Athletes ranked in the top 30 from the PAR current World Cup Standings

Criteria #2- Remaining spots will be filled from the 4th 2014/2015 FIS Parallel points list.  Athletes must have a minimum of 100 FIS Points to be eligible.

 

 

Squaw Valley SBX World Cup Criteria

Snowboardcross (14 men / 10 women)

A World Cup start allocation will use the following system to fill available quotas with athletes that meet the FIS criteria for entry (50 FIS SBX points). If an athlete declines the nomination then the next ranked athlete will be invited, within the specific criteria ranking list, until quota is filled.

 

Event:           Squaw World Cup

Criteria #1     Eight (8) Men and six (6) Women of U.S. start positions will be chosen from highest ranking U.S. athletes (men & women) from the 6th FIS SBX points lists. Athletes must have a minimum of 50 FIS point to be eligible to participate.

Criteria #2     Top 4 men & 2 woman (not already qualified from above criteria) World Cup Standings as of February 16, 2015. Must be in the top 30 of the World Cup ranking.

Criteria #3      2 men / 2 women (not already qualified from above criteria) may be selected based on coaches discretion. Discretionary positions may be considered on an event by event basis.
