BIOGRAPHY
Shaun White is the most winingest snowboarder in X Games history. He was the first to win back-to-back X Games gold as well as the first to win X Games gold in both the summer and winter X Games in the same year. He has two Olympic gold medals, 14 Winter X Games medals and won the overall titles at the 2006 Sprint U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix tour and in the 2007 World Cup Snowboard Tour rankings. White is headed into the 2014 Olympic season competing in both halfpipe and slopestyle, and he already nabbed a second-place finish in the first halfpipe Olympic Qualifier at Dew Tour Breckenridge.

FIRST TRACKS
After surviving two open-heart surgeries in his infancy, Shaun became infatuated with surfing, snowboarding and soccer as a toddler. He and his odler brother Jesse and sister Kari White grew up skiing in Vermont and Southern California, where Shaun was given a snowboard to help him 'slow down.' He was sponsered at age seven and became on the lookout of pros in both snowboarding and skateboarding, who advised him on his rise to global success. He also plays in a rock band called Bad Things, who performed at the 2013 Lollapalooza music festival.
